For Entrepreneurs:

Many entrepreneurs reach out to SoftTech VC for investment pitches, advice, feedback and we are grateful for the interest and attention. Genuinely. Unfortunately it is sometimes tough to respond in a timely fashion  to all these emails, so 1) apologies for delays (or lack of answers) and 2) I would always recommend asking from mutual connections to make a personal introduction. Also feel free to introduce yourself at a conference or one of the many events we attend.

To reach us for an investment pitch, please use this email: pitches@softtechvc.com, and make sure to forward an executive summary or investor presentation that tells us about you and your team, your product, your targeted market and audience,... Also feel free to send a link to closed alpha or beta versions so that we can take a brief look at applications. The goal in taking a cursory look upfront is to make sure we don't waste your time inviting you for a meeting, and realize after 10 or 15 minutes that we are not the right firm for you.

Oh, and we never sign NDAs to have an initial meeting with a company. Ever. If this ever takes place, it is much further into the due diligence process.

For PR Professionals:

We have a lot of respect for the PR profession, but sending us pitches for coverage of your clients on Software Only is a waste of your time.

For the Press, Bloggers and Conference Organizers:

Feel free to send us email questions, interview requests and speaking opportunities at contact@softtechvc.com. We'll get back to you as quickly as possible, especially if you tell us what your deadline is. Time permitting, we always are delighted to speak at events or conferences, as a keynote, panelist or moderator. It is always a great opportunity to have interesting conversations and meet new people. Conferences that require air travel and local accommodations will be asked to cover these costs.
